1 / GREEN SPEED

The speed of the greens is measured using a steepmeter. It can vary from 6 to 15 approximately.

The number of 6 corresponds to the distance measured in feet at the steepmeter, i.e. 182 cm.

The number 15 corresponds to 457 cm.

As you can see, the speed of the greens can vary enormously from green to green.

2 / ADAPTATION TO GREEN SPEED

The only way to keep up with the speed of the greens today is how each golfer feels about the situation.

3 / EC = 1 / 2MV²

The kinetic energy to be transmitted to the ball by the action of the putter is equal to 1 / 2MV² with M = mass of the putter and V = speed of the putter.

We can therefore make the following deduction:

To make the same putt on a slow green as on a fast green using the same balance, just change the mass of the putter.

4 / GREEN SPEED CONTROL: THE SOLUTION

GEEN SPEED CONTROL therefore proposes to adapt the mass of your putter according to the speed of the greens.

Thus the balance differential between a slow green and a fast green will be reduced and your success rate improved.

5 / OPERATION OF THE GREEN SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM

Three removable 20 gram, 40 gram and 60 gram weights fit into the base of your putter shaft, positioning themselves very close to the head of the putter. So this changes the mass of your putter head to match the speed of the green.

6 / APPROVAL

GREEN SPEED CONTROL is approved by the two world golf federations, R§A (royal and former) and USGA.

This allows you to play competitively. GREEN SPEED CONTROL is also patented (N ° FR1871001)

7 / CHOICE OF LESTS

The speed of the greens is measured using a steepmeter. It can vary from 6 to 15 approximately.

The number of 6 corresponds to the distance measured in feet at the steepmeter, i.e. 182 cm.

The number 15 corresponds to 457 cm.

As you can see, the speed of the greens can vary enormously from green to green.

Example of use: You are an average player, so you usually play on greens 8 to 11, so you choose this playing card.

If the day of your course the greens have a speed of 9, you therefore insert the ballast of 40 grams and so on.

8 / POSSIBLE VARIANTS

You can use GREEN SPEED CONTROL in different ways, namely:

If you don’t know the speed of the greens, you can make your choice empirically by judging the speed of the greens for yourself:

They’re slower than usual so I put on the 60 grams, or it rained so wet, same reasoning.

I play in the morning so greens faster and in the afternoon the grass has grown so greens slower.

It’s up to you to find the best possible use of your GREEN SPEED CONTROL and have a good score !!!

9 / PUTTER: THE forgotten CLUB

Almost every club in your bag has some adaptation possibilities except the putter.

The drivers, woods and rescues have removable weights allowing to modify the trajectory (DRAW or FADE).

The putter, the club most used on the course (50% of strokes) is forgotten.

GREEN SPEED CONTROL finally makes your putter smart without changing it !!
